The use of the e-scooter is exclusively and without restriction at your own risk. Every user of the e-scooter bears the civil and criminal liability for the damage caused by him personal injury, property damage or financial loss caused by the e-scooter controlled by him. He releases the company Seerad from any liability. The liability of the Seerad company and its fulfillment and vicarious agents for culpably caused damage is excluded insofar as the damage was not caused by intent or gross negligence. This does not apply to damage resulting from injury to life, limb or health, or the culpable violation of essential contractual obligations, i.e. such obligations, their fulfillment the proper execution of the contract in the first place and on compliance with which the contractual partner can regularly rely. In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, which is based on circumstances other than intent or gross negligence, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage that is typical for the contract. Liability for consequential damage or lost profit is excluded.

 

Terms of Use

The use of the e-scooter is subject to the Small Electric Vehicles Ordinance (eKFV), supplemented by the provisions of the Seerad company.

The minimum age is 14 years, maximum load is 100 kg

The use of the e-scooter is not permitted for people who suffer from physical disabilities or are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication. Pregnant women or people with heart problems and/or high blood pressure are expressly advised not to use the e-scooter.

Road traffic regulations must be observed. E-scooters are permitted on cycle paths and cycle lanes. Only if these are missing may you switch to the lane. E-scooters are prohibited on sidewalks, in pedestrian zones and in one-way streets against the direction of travel

Unless otherwise agreed, the scooters are to be handed in at the place of issue.

Only get on the scooter when it is switched on. Do not dismount or jump off while driving. Slowly increase speed until you feel safe and have done a few test stops. If you have to brake hard, bend your knees a little and shift your weight backwards - risk of overturning.

The speed must always be adapted to the circumstances. If you avoid potholes and do not ride over curbs, keep both hands on the handlebars.

Only one person is allowed per vehicle. Transporting objects is not permitted.

Please wear a safety helmet, it often prevents serious injuries.
